ARCADIA
Bespoke Furniture, Rooted in Costa Rican Nature

Santa Teresa, Puntarenas

Set into the hills above Santa Teresa, Arcadia was furnished as an exercise in bespoke craft. Solid wood seating, carved wall panels, basket pendants, and lamps in hand-shaped clay were each made for this place. A house rooted in Costa Rican nature and made from it.

The Social Heart of the Villa

A carved wood wall runs the length of the living room, a cream sectional sits on a low wooden base, and a circular wood coffee table anchors the center. The dining table in solid timber, cord-seat chairs around it, and basket pendants hung above. Each piece was made for the rooms it sits in.

Where Light and Nature Move Freely

A curved outdoor sectional placed under the palapa, chaise loungers floating in the water, and a long wooden bench tracing the deck. The outdoor side carries the same bespoke hand as inside, made for slow afternoons and the long view beyond.

Retreats Within the Villa

Grey upholstered headboards backed by vertical wood slat walls, ceramic-base lamps with woven shades on the bedside, a single red pendant overhead, and built-in storage along the room. Bedrooms designed as their own quiet retreats.
